2021 Feb. 6,7, Alison Antelman Virtual Tubing Technical : An Exploration in Fabrication Cost $300 includes $35 for the kit.

Alison Antelman is teaching "Tubing Technical: An Exploration in Fabrication” hosted by Diane Weimer on Feb 6-7 Saturday and Sunday. We will meet at these times 10-5 with 1hr for lunch on the zoom platform.  I will schedule TWO meetings with you with your devices on, before we meet for class in order to work out any “kinks.”. Cost $300 includes $35 kit fee.

Pre-requisite basic fabrication including soldering.

If you need technical help, we are happy to answer questions, do a zoom test or help in any way you can so the technology doesn’t get in the way of the workshop. We will get together a couple of times with out devices to iron out any kinks.

Tubing definition: a hollow form open at both ends, not necessarily round. Explore the myriad ways to make and use tubing. Join, bend, connect, latch, hang, set faceted trillion stones and hinge using tubing. Students will make a hinged pendant and set a trillion stone in a telescoped tube setting hanging from a bail made from bent tubing. A step-by-step handout with images and text is supplied. This is an intermediate level class, basic fabrication and soldering required."
