Adding dimension to a piece can transform your work. In this class you will learn basic metal manipulation techniques and explore how combining them can add dimension and a sculptural aesthetic to your work. This is a techniques based class. You will create samples of each technique that can be made into pieces of jewelry. This is not a project based class. You are encouraged to focus on how these techniques can be applied to your body of work.

Statement
Creating is a process constantly in motion, one that keeps the
maker searching for balance. I hope to create work that provokes
thought. Bridging sculpture and jewelry, each piece is thoughtful in
design and construction, representing a meaning deeper than
aesthetics, a unique journey in creativity through which I intend to
evoke a conversation that interests me and intrigues the viewer.
