 Gold on a Budget: Pendant edition

 Under the mistaken assumption that gold is both delicious and nutritious, doomsday preppers and zombie movie aficionados have bought tons of the stuff and driven the price to record highs. What’s truly tragic about this situation is that I need gold to make my jewelry but I’m not a rich man and my wife won’t share. That’s why I find it imperative to make the most out of every bit I use.

Over the years I’ve developed techniques to set stones and add embellishments to my work that utilize thin layers of gold along with texture and patina to contrast with silver. These techniques make my work look like it has a lot  more gold in it than it really does.

In this class we’ll utilize these skills to create a pendant with gold bezel set cabochons, gold-rimmed back plates and diamonds flush set in gold-capped silver rods. I’ll also show you how to ___________________
