Electroforming

Class Overview

Join artist Terry Henry for a unique three-day journey into the art and science of electroforming. This immersive, hands-on workshop teaches the fundamentals of electroforming, going beyond the basics to explore design possibilities using both conductive and non-reactive materials. Students will create a finished electroformed cuff while developing the skills and confidence to set up and operate their own electroforming systems at home.

By combining technical knowledge with guided practice, this class provides both artistic inspiration and practical know-how.

What You’ll Learn

• How to safely set up and maintain an electroforming tank
• Safe and effective use of a DC power supply (rectifier)
• Techniques for electroforming with conductive and organic materials
• Finishing and assembly of electroformed jewelry components
• Troubleshooting and safety best practices for home setups
